My counterpart in Troy at The Record, Tom Caprood (who sports a cooler title than me: He's the 'digital specialist' to my 'web editor,' but it amounts to the same position) has a new blog.
Tom was recently selected to be part of Journal Register Company's IdeaLab. Fifteen of my colleagues across the company will be outfitted with a laptop, an iPad and an iPhone (don't hold the left side!) or Droid and tasked with helping develop new techniques and best practices, in all aspects of our operations, as JRC forges onward with its "digital first!" war cry.
