This app keeps my pockets and dresser-top free of assorted bits of paper, and I don't need to hunt for that little pocket notebook I keep misplacing. Still, there is something to a hand-written missive scrawled in ink that technology like this can't trump.
I can't imagine the world changing so much that a pair of hosts, each leaving individually in the morning before their overnight guests were awake, would type up their notes and leave them on some sort of display device instead of a notepad; and those same guests doing their same to express thanks for their hosts' hospitality. Just because I can't imagine it, though, doesn't mean that's not the world we're headed for.

I wrote this post on my phone with Google's official Blogger app for Android. I will be interested to see how it turns out on the full version of my blog.
Update: 2:41 p.m., March 27, 2011: It didn't look too bad, although the photo displayed at the bottom. I just tweaked this post in Blogger's web dashboard, and strangely, when I went to edit, all my original linebreaks had been removed (though they displayed last night when I looked at it in a full web browser). Still, the app is pretty functional.
